I have a PhD in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from the the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. My advisor was Greg Grudic .

My interests lie in Machine Learning and Data Mining (esp. Information Retrieval, Recommender Systems, Semi-Supervised Learning, Clustering and Manifolds), Cryptography (Computer Security) and Social Psychology (esp. Criminology).

Otherwise I like to dance (mostly latin american dances or just clubbing) and play pool.
